Parental Responsibility

There is no substitute for Parental or Guardian direct supervision of children. Please know where your children are at all times. Our attractions have an inherent element of risk involved. Parents or guardians are better to make assessment of that risk and control your children. Our lifeguard’s jobs are to watch the water for a variety of issues and to react accordingly. You can assist us in our task of providing a safe environment for all of our guests if you can keep a close watch on all children in your group.
If your child is a weak or non-swimmer, we strongly suggest that you have them wear a lifejacket at all times when they are in the water. We also recommend Silverlake’s Swim America lesson program for children needing to learn to swim.
Please note: Water wings are not permitted to be worn by children in the water at the water park, only lifejackets.
